Novaa - Almond Eyes (Official Music Video)

With just week from briefing to delivering, together with Simon Roloff I produced a music Video for the wonderful music from Novaa. Together with the Artist we focused on a very minimal Video and ended up by the Idea of just a rig of LED tubes as Camera- and Effect lights in black Space to kind of represent the music and lyrics. With the Help of Mathias Schüller we used the great LED tubes from the MadMapper makers GarageCube. Beside of the BuiltIn LED tubes effects I just animated a simple color-strobe video to use as a Trigger Clip in MadMapper for the Tubes. So we were able to always be on time, without having even a lighting technician on Set. With that technique we aimed to Light Novaa up just sitting in the middle without really „seeing“ her.
